Ark is a practitioner of alchemy, a combination of science and magic that allows him to perform a variety of feats, such as transmutation, elemental attacks, or basic summoning. His art requires the use of "enchanted" items, such as his staff, which can serve as a conduit to channel the energies of his surroundings. He also has the ability to summon his familiar - Dash - who now that Ark has gotten him under control - has become a reliable and powerful ally.
