The Wing Republic was once part of the Anzier Empire, colonized many years ago, but not without considerable resistance from the resident cultures. Finally, after a war of independence, the Wing territory separated from the Empire and established its own government. There were many disputes after the initial secession, but over time, as the border was mutually agreed upon, the two cultures intertwined and influenced one another. Under the current leaderships, the two countries are strong allies.
